Is it per site?

Yes. Each site has its own subscription, its own topics and its own number of posts.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Cancel before your site goes live and you get a full refund. After that it ends at the close of the month you've paid for, and unpublished drafts stay in your blog as ordinary drafts.

Do I approve what gets written?

Every topic, before it's written. You can add directions for an article, and switch on a review of each finished post.
